Bainskloof Corner Lodge. S. Africa
I went to The Bainskloof Corner Lodge with an old friend, Alison Miller. We stayed 3 days, 4 nights and walked all around. Here are the sketches and oils that I did whilst there. It is truly a magical place, very peaceful with no one around. There are rivers and gorgeous pools to swim in. This river, the Witte River, is fairly dry in the summer with huge orange boulders. In the winter it fills up more that 3metres and people canoe down its rapids:
